There are two districts within Jackson County Public Schools: the Blue Ridge District (with 2 schools, the Blue Ridge School and Blue Ridge Early College) and Smoky Mountain District (with 7 schools).
All operate on a traditional school calendar.
Schools are in session between mid-August and June.
